CHERUBY 樱桃瑚
CHERUBY is a Shanghai-based arts and cultural organisation operating at the intersection of art and fashion, committed to transforming cultural hierarchies. The organisation nurtures boundary-pushing practices and fosters dialogue that embraces both local and global perspectives.
Founded in 2024, CHERUBY invests in this intersection through production and research support, while building a sustainable framework for experimental practitioners and expanding audiences for forward-thinking cultural production. The flagship space launches in 2025 with the inaugural exhibition Coro de Soles Menores (Chorus of the Minor Suns) by CHERUBY’s first artist-in-residence, Bárbara Sánchez-Kane.
Through a year-round programme of bespoke residencies, exhibitions, commissions, and public programmes, the organisation cultivates local communities to engage both creatively and critically with contemporary cultural discourse. With a rigorous and experimental approach, CHERUBY collaborates with like-minded organisations, practitioners, and researchers to drive interdisciplinary exchange on an international scale.
